These collaborations with Xatrac are carried out in the Casa del Mar and its surroundings and are based on activities designed and adapted so that foreign secondary education groups discover the Mediterranean marine biodiversity of the Costa Brava in their end-of-year trips, organized stays or sports stays in Catalonia.

In these activities they will discover and put themselves in the shoes of biologists who study marine biodiversity, observing everything that is hidden and lives in rocks, such as observing and classifying it. They will also perform a snorkel, with all the necessary material included, where they will discover the underwater life of Fenals beach.

In addition, by choosing the level in our program, through an adapted material they will be able to reflect on the pollution that affects marine ecosystems, know and discuss the causes of this pollution, know details and curiosities of animals and algae, or become aware of the amount of microplastics that are appearing in our seas and oceans.
