La Casa del Mar
La Casa del Mar is a public building, owned by the City Council of Lloret de Mar, located in Punta Garbí on Fenals beach.
Currently and since 2012 it is managed by Xatrac. The entity pays an economic fee to the City Council of Lloret de Mar in order to use it.
Xatrac, from the educational side, carries out a series of activities:
- Casal del Mar during the summer months.
- School outings and workshops in autumn and spring.
- Colonies around the beach of Fenals.
- Guided excursions in marine biology with snorkel for all ages.
From Xatrac, in this municipal facility, own activities are carried out or in collaboration with other entities and companies with the main objective of protecting our environment, making it known and showing its most charming part.
In this same building, Xatrac collaborates with a diving center. A synergy that allows to improve the functioning of both parties and of which result activities with contents in Ecology and Marine Biology, respectful with the environment, combining the experience of the team of the entity with the excellent quality of the instructors, very well formed by the PADI school.
